The Carmelite Church (St Mary of Mount Carmel) is a 14th-century Gothic church in the north-west of the walled city of Famagusta (Mağusa Suriçi). Its roof is long gone, but the tall walls, pointed windows and apse still stand, making the ruin an atmospheric setting for cultural events and classical concerts organised in the old town.
